The show started out with the company paying tribute to Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino. A lot of the current Superstars were out on stage while they rang the bell 10 times. Followed by them playing a tribute video.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman head down to the ring. As per usual Heyman runs his mouth and touts that Brock Lesnar is the end-all-be-all and it’s going to destroy Roman Reigns this Friday at the greatest Royal Rumble event. Roman Reigns comes out and heads down to the ring presumably for a big confrontation. Roman declares that this Friday he will be coming home with the WWE title
