The show starts out with Randy Orton headed to the ring. He talks about the two things he’s been talking about Jeff Hardy and respect. he plans on destroying Jeff Hardy and he claims that he doesn’t get any respect from the audience so it’s their fault.

Backstage Becky Lynch and Charlotte talk with each other and Becky Lynch claims that everything is cool between her and Charlotte.

• Match 1. Becky Lynch & Charlotte vs. The Iconics — Becky Lynch and Charlotte pick up the victory.

Backstage Renee Young interviews the new day and tells them that their commentator segment went over very well on social media last week.

Well to not be outdone they decide to raise the bar and do something new they give Renee Young the time off and one member of the new day puts on a wig and tries to be an interviewer which is insanely funny and they talk about their SummerSlam match and all then they give the wig to Renee young as a souvenir and go on about their business.

AJ Styles heads down to the Ring presumably to address Samoa Joe. AJ wants to do the best for his family. AJ talks a lot about his family and about Samoa Joe crossing the line and pretty much destroying a ten-plus year friendship. AJ proclaimed that at SummerSlam Samoa Joe was not going to be walking away with title and that he would be lucky to leave SummerSlam walking away at all.

backstage Rusev apologizes to Lana and states that he will be out there with her in her rematch tonight and Rusev forgives Aiden English

Match 2. Zelina Vega vs Lana –due to Aiden English interfering zelina Vega picks up the victory.

Backstage Renee Young tries to interview shinsuke Nakamura however R-Truth decides to interrupt the interview and challenges shinsuke Nakamura to a match at SummerSlam. Then he states he wants a match tonight on SmackDown.

In in the ring Byron Saxton tries to do a video interview with the Miz. In my opinion The Miz was just ducking the interview because he’s scared but that’s just my opinion.

Byron Saxton tries to get the Miz to answer questions about his match at SummerSlam with Daniel Bryan. The me states that he will finally end the Daniel Bryan situation at SummerSlam and that he is tired of carrying Daniel Bryan on his back all the time and he says that Daniel Bryan is beneath him. Then all of a sudden Daniel Bryan shows up and attacks The Miz.

• Match 3. Shinsuke Nakamura vs R-Truth — shinsuke Nakamura picks up the victory with a knee to the face.
• Match 4. The bludgeon Brothers vs. 3sk — the bludgeon Brothers destroyed 3sk for the victory
• Match 5. The bar vs. the new day — Kofi Kingston hit the Midnight Hour for the victory.
